ABQ Brewers collaboration beer is an annual favorite during ABQ Beer Week.  Several of ABQs breweries collaborated on a Golden Strong Ale this year.  On draft at the participating breweries and their corresponding tap rooms throughout beer week until the kegs run dry!

Golden Strong:  Brewed with Pilsner, Munich, and Acidulated malts, dextrose, and some flaked oats for body, this strong Belgian was then hopped to high heaven with lots of impact hops from contributing breweries.  Simcoe, Calypso, Dr Rudi, and Cashmere, just to name a few.  With a starting gravity of 17.6°P and a terminal gravity of 1.5°P, this one packs a punch at around 8.74% ABV.  The 25 IBUs come mainly from the massive whirlpool addition with more impact coming from an equally absurd dry hop.  Thanks to all of the breweries who contributed their hops, time, and support to make this happen and thanks, as always, to the Guild for being there for all of us.
