Dukes of Ale Homebrew Contest at ABQ Blues & Brews

The Dukes Of Ale club will be back with plenty of fun beers, ciders and meads.  The Coconut-Pecan-Vanilla English Brown is back by popular demand, as well as Spice and Multi-Fruit Wild-Fermented Ciders, and Specialty Meads! We'll also have experienced club members to talk to, as well as homebrewing science & demos. Come by early, as we usually tap out some kegs pretty fast!!

Hash House Harriers Brewery R*N (run/walk)

Get some exercise while enjoying some of your favorite local breweries. We will start at Canteen Brewhouse (on Aztec) and run/walk a trail brewery to brewery (approximate 5k total) while singing a few bawdy songs in-between. The Hash House Harriers is a worldwide "drinking group with a running problem" always open to new like-minds. The trail will be scavenger hunt style, aimed to keep people of all levels of fitness together to enjoy each brewery as a group.

Beer Olympics at O'Niell's Juan Tabo

O'Niell's Pub will be partnering with National and Colorado breweries (Boulder, New Belgium, Oskar Blues, and Left Hand) for the Beer Olympics. We are looking to have 20 teams of 4 each to participate in four events. The cost is $5.00/per person or $20.00/team. The money raised will go to Viva Animal Rescue, but the winner of the Beerlympics will get a WWE style belt with the O'niell's logo. From 2-6 PM.

ABQ Brewers Collaboration Beer Release

ABQ Brewers collaboration beer is an annual favorite during ABQ Beer Week.  Several of ABQs breweries collaborated on a Golden Strong Ale this year.  On draft at the participating breweries and their corresponding tap rooms throughout beer week until the kegs run dry!

Golden Strong:  Brewed with Pilsner, Munich, and Acidulated malts, dextrose, and some flaked oats for body, this strong Belgian was then hopped to high heaven with lots of impact hops from contributing breweries.  Simcoe, Calypso, Dr Rudi, and Cashmere, just to name a few.  With a starting gravity of 17.6°P and a terminal gravity of 1.5°P, this one packs a punch at around 8.74% ABV.  The 25 IBUs come mainly from the massive whirlpool addition with more impact coming from an equally absurd dry hop.  Thanks to all of the breweries who contributed their hops, time, and support to make this happen and thanks, as always, to the Guild for being there for all of us.

The Hopper: Hop-on, Hop-off Brew Cruise with ABQ Trolley Co.

Hop on the Trolley. Hop off at a brewery. Order a pint. Repeat. Hop, hop, hooray! Join us for a hop-on, hop-off brew cruise featuring some of the best beers in Burque. At just $20, your ticket gets you unlimited Trolley transportation during your 3-hour flight, and a discount at each brewery. The Trolley will make stops at each of five participating breweries approximately every 30-45 minutes. Cheers!
